As Sales & Business Development Manager at HEBO, you help expand our position across both traditional offshore markets and the fast-growing renewable energy sector. The Role
Identify and develop new business opportunities in offshore Oil & Gas and renewable energy markets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Position HEBO’s fleet, capabilities, and expertise in installation, decommissioning, heavy lifting, and marine operations.
Translate market insights into strategic plans, commercial approaches, and clear client proposals.
Stay on top of industry developments and gather intelligence to support HEBO’s long-term growth.
Who we are looking for
Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the offshore, maritime, or energy sectors.
A strong network in Oil & Gas and/or renewables is a clear advantage.
Commercial mindset with the ability to understand and communicate technical content.
Skilled in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.

Preferred educational level: LBO/MBO (Vocational) for crew/technical staff; HBO (Higher Professional/Bachelor) for Engineering and Management roles.
Preferred education: Maritime Officer (Marof), Inland Shipping certifications (Binnenvaart), Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or Commercial/Sales training.
Career level: All levels, including Trainees/BBL students, Junior Engineers, Experienced Skippers/Deckhands, and Senior Project Managers.
