Anthony Veder opens a chance for a Deck Cadet to join our Fleet. As a Deck Cadet, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vessels.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced Deck Officers and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of vessel operations. You will be responsible for assisting with navigation, cargo handling, and maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will participate in safety drills and emergency response training to ensure the highest level of safety standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with navigation tasks, including chart plotting and monitoring of weather conditions
Support cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and securing of cargo
Conduct routine maintenance tasks on deck equipment and machinery
Participate in safety drills and emergency response training
Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong interest in the maritime industry and a desire to pursue a career as a Deck Officer. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with a diverse team onboard our vessels.

Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certification
